Dynamical Stochastic Higher Spin Vertex Models

چکیده

We introduce a new family of integrable stochastic processes, called dynamical stochastic higher spin vertex models, arising from fused representations of Felder’s elliptic quantum group Eτ,η(sl2). These models simultaneously generalize the stochastic higher spin vertex models, studied by Corwin-Petrov and Borodin-Petrov, and are dynamical in the sense of Borodin’s recent stochastic interaction round-a-face models. We provide explicit contour integral identities for observables of these models (when run under specific types of initial data) that characterize the distributions of their currents. Through asymptotic analysis of these identities in a special case, we evaluate the scaling limit for the current of a dynamical version of a discrete-time partial exclusion process. In particular, we show that its scaling exponent is 1/4 and that its one-point marginal converges (in a sense of moments) to that of a non-trivial random variable, which we determine explicitly.

Dynamical replica analysis of processes on finitely connected random graphs: I. Vertex covering

Abstract We study the stochastic dynamics of Ising spin models with random bonds, interacting on finitely connected Poissonian random graphs. We use the dynamical replica method to derive closed dynamical equations for the joint spin–field probability distribution, and solve these within the replica-symmetry ansatz. Although the theory is developed in a general setting, with a view to future ap...

We propose a dynamical matrix product ansatz describing the stochastic dynamics of two species of particles with excluded-volume interaction and the quantum mechanics of the associated quantum spin chains respectively. The time-dependent algebra which is obtained from the action of the Markov generator of the exclusion process (or quantum Hamiltonian of the spin chain respectively) is given in ...

Symmetric Vertex Models on Planar Random Graphs

We discuss a 4-vertex model on an ensemble of 3-valent (Φ) planar random graphs, which has the effect of coupling the vertex model to 2D quantum gravity. The regular lattice equivalent of the model is the symmetric 8-vertex model on the honeycomb lattice, which can be mapped on to an Ising model in field, as was originally shown by Wu et.al. using generalised weak graph transformation technique...

Spin Foam Models

While the use of spin networks has greatly improved our understanding of the kinematical aspects of quantum gravity, the dynamical aspects remain obscure. To address this problem, we deene the concept of a `spin foam' going from one spin network to another. Just as a spin network is a graph with edges labeled by representations and vertices labeled by intertwining operators, a spin foam is a 2-...

Type-dependent irreversible stochastic spin models for biochemical reaction networks

We describe an approach to model biochemical reaction networks at the level of promotion-inhibition circuitry through a class of stochastic spin models that depart from the usual chemical kinetics setup and includes spatial and temporal density fluctuations in a most natural way. A particular but otherwise generally applicable choice for the microscopic transition rates of the models also makes...
